The Construction sector is a vital industry; it creates buildings and spaces that connect communities, providing jobs and improving society. It’s one of the country's largest and most varied sectors, with over 170 different professions.

The average construction salary in the United Kingdom is £44,996 per year or £23.07 per hour. Entry-level positions start at £31,060 per year while most experienced workers make up to £67,500 per year.  

Each job role will have different requirements and entry routes. Some entry-level roles don't require any qualifications at all. For others, you may need to have completed a relevant college course, degree or apprenticeship to apply. Our programme will be able to support you with the relevant steps to get into construction. 

You can undertake training such as T-Levels or Skills Bootcamps to get into the sector, and some companies may also require you to obtain a Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card to work on-site. The Healthcare sector consists of all aspects related to the maintenance and improvement of human health. As of 2022, there were approximately 550 established healthcare recruitment companies in the UK; providing plenty of diverse career opportunities to refugees with varying work experience and interests.

Healthcare is a vast and varied industry, meaning there is a job role to suit refugees of many different backgrounds. If you're new to the sector, there are many healthcare roles that don’t require much experience such as healthcare support workers and care workers, however, roles such as a doctor or nurse may require relevant college or degree qualifications or certificates. 

Much like other industries, you can undertake degree qualifications to pursue a particular role in healthcare. Through large companies like the NHS, you can also undertake apprenticeships and traineeships to get into your desired role. Logistics is the process of planning and executing the efficient transportation and storage of goods from the point of origin to the point of consumption. It is one of the world’s biggest industries, employing over 1.5 million people in the UK alone in 2022.

The average logistics salary in the UK is £28, 202, however, depending on your role, you could earn between £20,280 and £41,597. 

Many logistics jobs don’t require a lot of experience, such as a warehouse operator, however, roles such as HGV/ Lorry drivers will require experience and qualifications such as a UK HGV and Lorry License. Hospitality is a multifaceted industry focused on providing a positive and memorable experience. The hospitality sector includes many businesses ranging from hotels to bars and restaurants. The UK hospitality sector is comprised of approximately 143,000 businesses and employs around 1.8 million people.

The average Hospitality and Leisure salary is £23,226, depending on your role, you could earn between £18,595 and £32,989.
